My goals for seeking a health coach were; to find my true purpose, to get back into a fitness routine and to have a more whole foods and nutritional diet.
Heidi was able to help me work towards these goals by helping me figure out what I was interested in - design. Helping me finish my portfolio. Helping me set goals towards getting back into the gym and starting with small steps. Giving me lots of info on nutrition and easy recipe websites. The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been that I have seen results - by setting goals - this makes it clear as to what you want to achieve and the achieving it becomes manageable. I feel more confident now about the future. The most significant overall change I have noticed has been my physical and mental and emotional wellbeing has improved drastically - as I have learnt to set goals and see results. I describe Heidi as amazing. Heidi really cares and does her best to get the best out of you. Her positivity and integrity is of utmost importance to her and that's what she brings to the table every session.
I would recommend Heidi to anyone who doesn't have an idea of how to set and achieve goals. I found it more helpful than therapy - because you see results and your focus is on the future.

My top 3 goals upon starting the health coaching program were to 1, sleep better 2, lose weight 3, feel happy. Heidi was able to help me work towards these goals by guiding and steering me and above all pointing me toward the up right direction. My top goals upon starting the 6-month program were to run the New York Marathon and to learn how to eat well to be able to train & run the marathon. Heidi was able to help me work toward these goals by helping with developing nutritional meals to fuel the body, develop & support a running program to get me through the required training to be able to complete the marathon and help me to keep focused and motivated. The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been the ability to get up and go for a run and ENJOY it! I went from doing no running in the last 6 to 7 years to being able to run a marathon. The most significant overall change I have noticed has been a better appreciation and understanding of nutrition and how it can fuel the body for fitness. Weight loss – While I didn’t do this program for weight loss as a goal by the time I had run the marathon I had lost 12 kilos! I would describe Heidi as inspirational and a great motivator! Fantastic nutritional knowledge that I know I will continue to use.
I would recommend Heidi to everyone who wants to achieve a personal health or fitness goal. Everybody needs help in starting and getting on track when health and fitness goals are set.  It is hard to keep motivated when you are doing it on your own and I highly recommend engaging with Heidi in helping you achieve your goals.  Personally I didn’t realise just how important nutrition was to achieving fitness goals.
I would not have finished the marathon if I had tried to do this journey on my own. Sure I had support from family and friends, but for me I need to be held accountable to do the training but massively needed help with nutrition to ensure I would achieve my goal!  Heidi’s advice and guidance with nutrition was invaluable and even today I continue embrace as I train for the RAK Half marathon.

"I had a couple of goals upon starting my 6-month health coaching program. My main goal was to be ready to run my first marathon and I wanted a training program completely different to what I have tried before. I also wanted a lifestyle change, especially with my eating habits. I have always eaten healthily but I wanted to develop healthier daily habits to increase my energy levels and help fuel for my marathon training and I wanted to feel good about myself.
Heidi was able to help me work toward these goals by taking the overwhelm out of the transformation, she did this by helping me build the confidence to cook new foods, provide nutritional education – especially foods that help and support the body. She also encouraged and supported me to try positive psychology techniques I hadn’t tried before such as; gratitude writing – this act made a huge impact in my life. I am now able to ‘step-out’ of a negative situation/ cycle as I know there is always an answer to a problem.
The biggest tangible change I have noticed since beginning the program has been body strength from create routine that works, food on my and my family plates, items of food in the cupboard! Its been a whole family change, the kids enjoy the food, we have all benefited.
I would describe Heidi as enthusiastic, always there and supportive – she changed my life.

"Changes haven’t been enormous. For me, it was always going to be about ‘marginal gains’ and slow progress that added up to help me achieve my goals. I’ve made a point of making time (no excuses!) for jogging 3 -5 times a week (starting very short distances and now up towards 6km each time) and got back into playing football with colleagues at work. The irony is I used to get tired by sport and exercise, but more and more lately I’ve noticed it has energised me and given me extra energy, not less.
Keeping a food diary was a revelation! I’ve also got into the kitchen a lot more and made real changes that have positively affected me both in terms of weight gain and also for digestion and IBS symptoms. Smoothies are a regular part of my diet, as is switching dairy out in favour of coconut or almond milk (which I love the taste of anyway!). I’m certainly following Heidi’s mantra of ‘counting nutrients not calories’ and the effect has been gradual, but overwhelmingly positive, and I’d like to say (and this is the key thing for me) sustainable and, hopefully, permanent."

The talks were challenges for the week about healthy eating and a healthy balanced lifestyle. The biggest change I have noticed since beginning the program has been my diet choices, noticed the way I felt after eating ‘bad’ foods, started to notice how good I felt. Also I was able to accomplish a lot more fitness activities and I was more toned. Two significant changes I have noticed is that I make healthier decisions in looking after my body and how it improved my mental state, I am now more mentally ready for challenges. I describe Mrs Jones as a fantastic health coach and a role model. She is also very determined, welcoming and a kind encouraging person who always wants you to do well and makes you feel good about yourself.
